Volunteering opportunities at TCF

TCF runs an Annual Summer Camp in Karachi and Lahore which aims to improve students’ written and spoken English.  It is run by TCF teachers and volunteers from schools, colleges and universities across the two cities. Camp activities are organised at various TCF campuses.

At last year’s Summer Camp volunteers organised English enhancing activities and exercises, helped design English magazines with the students, and directed songs and performances for the camp’s finale events. Summer Camp 2009 will be held in Karachi and Lahore from 13th July to 31st July 2009 and promises to be bigger, better and even more fun!

This year, the Summer Camp will be open to UK volunteers too.  It is open to enthusiastic volunteers (aged 16-25) who can help teach science and English. A training and orientation programme will be held for all volunteers during the first week of July.  TCF will provide transport to the Camp locations for all volunteers from designated pick-up points. Volunteers will be expected to be available from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Friday (travel time included).
